Week #72

GUESS WHAT?

I don't have much time this week. WOO HOO.

Also, Thank you Roger Lindsay for sending me letters from the Reunion. I will make sure this letter stays within the guidelines of length you set up for me.

This week I was in Liepāja on an exchange and had MLC and Zone Conference which means I spent 1 1/2 days in my own area! GREAT TIME TO BE ALIVE. It was really good though. I really enjoyed Elder Golden. He is a great man.

Met a guy named D who was wearing a Compton hat. I asked him if he had been to Compton and he said no. He said his dad had died. He didn't show up to the meeting we set up. Good guy though.

My comp is great.

I am super tired.

I am listening to all of Legrand Richards talks. He is my favorite because he never has a topic and just yells scripture quotes.

love you all.

Week #71

Hello everyone.

Don't have much time.

Love you all.

We had a Zone Conference with Elder Golden of the 70. He was really cool and has a great South African accent.

We talked a lot about goals and how we need to have faith that God will help us to achieve them.

Have fun starting school everyone.

Forgot my adapter so no pics this week. I am a MESS lol.

The Church is true.

Week #70

Summer is finally here and it was 95 degrees a few days back. It is in the 60's today, which I enjoy.

How are all of you? My inbox is getting thinner by the week. You all have time, just put in the effort.

Anyway, life is good.

We went to Jelgava (again) this week and will go 2 more times this transfer... That is a lot of trips out of the area. Not to mention the 8 other exchanges we have to do. CRAZY we will spend little time in out own area. Oh well.

We did service in Jelgava and helped an 80 year old member in her garden. She is bats crazy and so cute. I will attach picture.

Also, your homework this week is to read Alma 30-34. Very good chapters.

Alma 34: 9-10:

For it is expedient that an atonement should be made; for according to the great plan of the Eternal God there must be an atonement made, or else all mankind must unavoidably perish; yea, all are hardened; yea, all are fallen and are lost, and must perish except it be through the atonement which it is expedient should be made.
10 For it is expedient that there should be a great and last sacrifice; yea, not a sacrifice of man, neither of beast, neither of any manner of fowl; for it shall not be a human sacrifice; but it must be an infinite and eternal sacrifice.
Thanks to Jesus, that eternal sacrifice has been made. Now, what are you willing to sacrifice to obtain eternal life? We cannot expect to have the Atonement work in our lives if we have not felt any of the pain or sorrow that he felt. Sometimes, we need to feel a little down in order to get back up. Sometimes, we need to give something of ourselves to feel of the love he wants us to feel.
Don't let Trump blow up the world! HAHAHAHAHA BYE

Week #69

Hi
The computers dont work and wont let me send to everyone. Sorry.
This week was good. Jelgava is pretty.
I knocked into my first EVER lesson this week in Jelgava. It was a 19 year old kid who let us in after I complemented his tattoo. LOL. It was a good lesson and there will be another. His name was E.
IT WAS A MIRACLE.
Anyway, the rest of the week was normal. Interviews with President, finding, meeting with members, translating for primary... All is good.
Love you all.

Week #68

Hi friends, family, Mr. and Mrs. Blake Sykes, and any other being who will read this.
Congratulations on the wedding, Blake. I hope you have a good life and that you will still have time to make creepy little films with the boys.
Well, here we are. Another one of these emails that I do not want to write and you wont find time to read.
The area is good. I will be in Jelgava this week with the new missionary. It will be fun.
K is good. We are meeting today.
Recently I have really enjoyed the book of Matthew. The Gospels are so nice because we here the Gospel of Jesus Christ as he said it. So many good stories.
I have been very tired all week. So has Elder Andersen. I guess we are working too hard.

Well, I love you all.
