Week #101

Last one!

Here are some pictures and here are some scriptures.

For if there be no Christ there be no God; and if there be no God we are not, for there could have

been no creation. But there is a God, and he is Christ, and he cometh in the fulness of his own time. 

That is 2 Nephi 11:7 and it was my favorite this week. GOD AND JESUS CHRIST LIVE AND LOVE US!

Nothing to crazy happened this week. We visited a lot of members. It was fun.

I am excited to come home but also a LITTLE EMOTIONAL. WHO KNEW RIGHT?

I love Latvija and the Gospel.

Week #100

I am super tired (more than usual (!))

We have a new investigator (Alex Cooley, the lady that we talked to by the University. SHE IS TIGHT) She is reading the Book of Mormon. WOO HOO

Here is some scriptures:

19 And when I desire to rejoice, my heart groaneth because of my sins; nevertheless, I know in   whom I have trusted.

20 My God hath been my support; he hath led me through mine afflictions in the wilderness; and he hath preserved me upon the waters of the great deep.

21 He hath filled me with his love, even unto the consuming of my flesh.

Week #99

I AM TIRED.

I am happy.

Here is a story to illustrate how tired I truly am: I turned on the Tub midday to clean it and forgot I turned it on and 3.5 hours later I remembered. Thank the heavens it had a safety drain...

29 And it came to pass as they smote us with a rod, behold, an ^aangel of the Lord came and stood before them, and he spake unto them, saying: Why do ye smite your younger brother with a rod? Know ye not that the Lord hath chosen him to be a ^bruler over you, and this because of your iniquities? Behold ye shall go up to Jerusalem again, and the Lord will ^cdeliverLaban into your hands.

30 And after the ^aangel had spoken unto us, he departed.

31 And after the angel had departed, Laman and Lemuel again began to ^amurmur, saying: How is it possible that the Lord will deliver Laban into our hands? Behold, he is a mighty man, and he can command fifty, yea, even he can slay fifty; then why not us?

It is crazy how quickly Laman and Lemuel murmured after seeing an angel with their own eyes. Dont be like that. BE HUMBLE AND WILLING TO ACCEPT THE LORDS WILL!

Week #98

Hello FAMILY and FRIENDS and OTHERS.

I am happy but also tired.

Me and a Russian Elder, Elder Affleck of Sandy, Utah, knocked into a woman this week. She is in her 50's and loves the Pope. We will see if it goes anywhere. 

31 O Lord, my heart is exceedingly sorrowful; wilt thou comfort my soul in Christ. O Lord, wilt thou grant unto me that I may have strength, that I may suffer with patience these afflictions which shall come upon me, because of the iniquity of this people.

32 O Lord, wilt thou comfortmy soul, and give unto me success, and also my fellow laborers who are with me—yea, Ammon, and Aaron, and Omner, and also Amulek and Zeezrom, and also my two sons—yea, even all these wilt thou comfort, O Lord. Yea, wilt thou comfort their souls in Christ.

33 Wilt thou grant unto them that they may have strength, that they may bear their afflictions which shall come upon them because of the iniquities of this people.

Pray for comfort, just like Alma, and you will get it. God will help us through our trials!
