Week #65

Sound of silence- Simon and Garfunkel

'Hello darkness, my old friend. I've come to talk with you again. Because a vision softly creeping, left it's seeds while I was sleeping. And the vision, that was planted in my brain, still remains, within the sound, of silence.''

While contacting a few days ago, we met a man named Martiņš  who was interested. I called him so he would have our number and the all time greatest song, Sound of Silence, was his ringtone. This is the strongest testimony builder of my mission. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is TRUE!

President P is a great man, funny too! He speaks good English and loved KFC!

Investigators are well. So am I. The weather is a bi-polar mess and Global Warming is a myth.

Kr is still going strong. Giving him the time he needs and he is loving the Gospel and seeing the blessings.

En is also doing well. Meeting with him this week.

I love the Book of Mormon. Revelation comes left and right when we read. Mosiah 5:8, for example:

7 And now, because of the covenant which ye have made ye shall be called the children of Christ, his sons, and his daughters; for behold, this day he hath spiritually begotten you; for ye say that your hearts are changed through faith on his name; therefore, ye are born of him and have become his sons and his daughters.

8 And under this head ye are made free, and there is no other head whereby ye can be made free. There is no other name given whereby salvation cometh; therefore, I would that ye should take upon you the name of Christ, all you that have entered into the covenant with God that ye should be obedient unto the end of your lives.

We are the children of Christ, and through our obedience we are made free. When we are baptized and make covenants we give up nothing, but instead are given the privilege to follow Him.
Anyway, I love those verses. When we do as He has commanded, we are free. Think about the meaning of that word, free. It has so much meaning when thought of in Gospel terms. Please read this whole chapter. It is wonderful.

Well, I don't have much more time and am going to play Tennis on Clay in 2 hours so I need to prepare for that. Love you all.

GO FEDERER AND DOWN WITH HAYWARD.
